Sunline airlines planned low fare service from Sanford to Chicago, Dallas and Detroit with B-737-200s. They changed their name to Sunbird Airways and expanded plans to scheduled flights from Orlando. None of these plans came to fruition and the company surrendered its DOT certificate on January 10, 1996.
